“This is a Tawny that’s clearly been given time to develop – and it shows. The deep amber colour hints at years of elegant maturation, revealing notes of toasted almonds, dried figs and a touch of walnut. A wonderfully expressive wine from the Douro, it maintains a refreshing balance, finishing with a lingering sweetness reminiscent of a good nougat. Absolutely delicious with aged sheep’s cheese, a little *brulho* or perhaps paired with a luxurious truffle.”
