This Maritáváora is a wonderfully robust Douro wine – a real ‘big kid’ – bursting with an exuberantly fresh nose, reminiscent of a traditional cellar. You get intense notes of ripe black fruit alongside that unmistakable character of fermentation tanks. On the palate, it’s surprisingly complex, with a firm, well-structured mouthfeel and delightful dark fruit nuances. A truly impressive wine, ideally paired with a hearty beef roast.
