Maritávora No. 3 Reserva Biológica Branco is made from grapes grown on vines about 15 years old, where the main varieties are Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, Viosinho and other traditional Douro grapes. Part of the wine ferments and ages for seven months in French oak barrels, with three months of bâtonnage, while the remaining portion ferments in temperature‑controlled stainless‑steel vats, preserving the freshness and fruit expression. It presents an elegant, balanced profile, where freshness and minerality combine with the complexity and texture imparted by the partial wood aging. In the mouth it shows good volume, harmonious acidity and an engaging structure. The finish is long, fresh and persistent, reflecting the authenticity of the traditional varieties and the identity of Douras’ organic viticulture.
