Maritávora No. 5 Organic White Harvest is made from the grape varieties Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, Viosinho and other traditional Douro varieties grown on vines about 15 years old. The fermentation takes place in stainless‑steel tanks at controlled temperature, preserving the grapes’ aromatic purity and freshness. It presents a fresh, balanced, and expressive profile in which fruit and minerality blend harmoniously. In the mouth it shows good structure, vibrant acidity, and an elegant texture, reflecting the authenticity of the varieties and the Dúrain terroir. The finish is fresh, persistent and harmonious, highlighting the character of organic viticulture and the Douro region. The Maritávora Estate is a family project located in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, at the heart of the International Douro, where history, tradition and innovation unite to produce high‑quality organic wines. Surrounded by a unique landscape within the International Douro Natural Park, the vineyards benefit from a singular terroir that shines through in the authenticity and elegance of its wines. Grounded in long viticultural experience and a deep respect for nature, the Maritávora Estate is committed to preserving the region’s heritage by creating wines that faithfully express the Douro’s identity and a commitment to sustainable viticulture.
