Maritávora No. 6 Biológico Red is made from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and other traditional Douro varieties sourced from vines over 30 years old. The wine is fermented in stone vats with hand‑crushed grapes, then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, which adds depth and elegance. It presents a balanced, expressive profile in which the fruit is united with structure and subtle oak‑derived notes. On the palate, the tannins are well integrated, the intensity is strong, and the overall harmony is highlighted by the authenticity of the old vines. The finish is long, elegant and persistent, reflecting the character of the Douro and the commitment to organic production.
