This Vinho Verde Chardonnay is a bit of a rebel, to be honest – a surprising burst of boldness from this region. Despite the dominant Loureiro, the Chardonnay gives it a beautiful golden hue and a vibrant explosion of green apple, hinting at a perfectly timed harvest. There’s a subtle influence of oak that adds a lovely texture, and a lingering, buttery finish – almost a little indulgence – makes it fantastic with grilled white fish or some fresh sushi. Definitely a wine to be enjoyed with a smile.
