This Barolo 2020 is a decidedly serious wine. Those seeking a casual, entry-level Barolo won’t find it here. It’s brilliantly structured with firm tannins and will undoubtedly benefit from at least a few years of cellaring. Notes of crushed stone, red and dark berry fruits, and dried flowers emerge with conviction, making this a wine clearly destined for the cellar. Antonio Galloni awarded it 92 points, describing it as the most reticent Barolo he’s tasted.
