After the first documented purchase of a vineyard plot in Brauneberg on 17 April 1643, the company was founded in 1680. Its winemaking tradition spans over 300 years of family history, always guided by the motto: “Great wines are made in the vineyard, not in the cellar.” In 1774 the founder’s grandson built a beautiful estate with a garden in the prevailing architectural style of the time. Nearly a century later, in 1880, Max Ferd. Richter constructed a modern cellar that houses one of the largest collections of wooden wine barrels in the Mosel region. Today the company is in its ninth generation, with a member of the tenth generation, Constantin MF Richter, actively involved in the business since the summer of 2012. *(illustrative image only)* Exclusive online campaign valid from 22 / 09 / 2026 to 30 / 09 / 2026 at 23:59, limited to existing stock and not cumulative with other ongoing campaigns.
