Casa Relvas is a family project that began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, by Alexandre Relvas, aimed at continuing a five‑generation legacy of passion for the Alentejo and its authentic nature. Over the years the family grew alongside the business, and it soon encompassed roughly 750 ha of mixed forest, 225 ha of olive grove, and 350 ha of vineyards, all 100 % integrated production. With its three estates – Herdade de São Miguel, Herdade da Pimenta, and Herdade de São Miguel de Machede – Casa Relvas can produce about 6 million bottles of wine a year, of which 70 % are destined for the external market; it is present in more than 30 countries worldwide, offering the best of the Alentejo.
