This Meruge Magnum is a truly evocative white wine – it genuinely looks like it’s just popped out of a fruit basket! The new Portuguese oak fermentation has gifted it with a wonderfully subtle vanilla and nutty aroma, avoiding any cloying sweetness. On the palate, freshness takes centre stage, alongside a complexity suggesting it’ll age gracefully – perhaps beautifully – alongside a rich Serra da Estrela cheese.
