This Quinta do Cachão Reserva, built around Touriga Nacional with a supporting cast of Aragonez and Tinta Barroca, delivers a wonderfully robust yet refined experience. The influence of those old French and American oak barrels – a legacy of their 12-month maturation – lends a welcome layer of complexity, far beyond the norm. Seriously, it deserves a hearty beef roast, or perhaps a lovely Silva Canal to really show it off.
