This Mirabilis Grande Reserva from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo has clearly had a bit of a playful adventure during its winemaking – 80% ungrafted, undoubtedly giving it a rather distinctive character. The time spent in new French oak barrels has added a touch of elegance and complexity, reminiscent of Vinhas Velhas and Trincadeira. The result is a wine brimming with intense black fruit notes, a hint of spice, and a remarkably sophisticated structure, finishing with impressive length. Absolutely perfect paired with grilled beef – a match that won’t disappoint.
