This Monsaraz Millennium is the kind of wine that makes you say, “Wow, this is a good wine!” It boasts a ruby hue and a nose brimming with raspberry and plum, complemented by hints of dark coffee and chocolate – reminiscent of a fine dark chocolate. On the palate, firm tannins provide structure, expertly balanced by a silky texture. The finish is remarkably long, lingering delightfully. Apparently, it snagged a medal – and it’s easy to see why, considering the producer masterfully utilised Touriga Nacional, Aragonez and a touch of Syrah to add a sophisticated flourish. Absolutely superb with grilled beef, I’d say!
