Monte da Peceguina – Alentejo Regional Wine At the Malhadinha Nova estate, nothing is left to chance. The grapes, harvested from the Malhadinha, Peceguina, and Terges vineyards, are carried by hand in 12‑kg baskets until they are immediately received in the cellar. Under careful human inspection, after the vineyard sorting, the grapes are taken to the selection table. Following selection and sorting, they are destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless‑steel tanks.
