Description

Francisco Fino and Susana Esteban team up to create this white wine that blends three different harvests—2018, 2019, and 2020. Made from a 2‑hectare vineyard, the wine is crafted from Arinto, Fernão Pires, Roupeiro, and Trincadeira das Pratas grapes, and is limited to 4,018 bottles. It offers a fruity profile and is remarkably elegant in both aroma and texture. Francisco Fino was instrumental in the success of the legendary Tapada do Chaves in Portalegre at the end of the last century. Today, the family manages Monte da Penha. The reason Tapada do Chaves earned a special status in the 1990s becomes clear when you taste their current wines. Monte da Penha’s wines revive that legacy—a deep historical understanding of winemaking culture in Northern Alentejo. They are wines of expression and identity, and above all, pure hedonistic gastronomic pleasure. (Illustrative image only)
