This Monte da Raposinha Chardonnay is clearly a wine that’s taken its time maturing in French oak. Hints of orange peel and ripe citrus speak volumes about the influence of that lovely Alentejo terroir, while the subtle buttery note – a result of the lees contact – adds a touch of luxurious indulgence. On the palate, you get a good weight and balanced acidity, finishing with a remarkably fresh note. Really delightful with grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon, or perhaps a fragrant curry.
