Description

“This first vintage from Raposinha is a lovely, restrained wine, crafted from the Trincadeira grapes grown on the Monte da Raposinha hillside. It presents a beautiful, open colour and a vibrant acidity – perfectly suited to the demands of this elegant grape. The spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel lagares yields remarkably smooth tannins, almost a gentle caress on the palate. You’ll detect fresh red fruit alongside a persistent note of dried tobacco leaf, a charming echo of the terroir. It’s a very easy-drinking wine, and would pair wonderfully with duck breast or a hearty beef dish.”
