This Monte da Ravasqueira Reserva is a decidedly bold undertaking. The gamble lies in the combination of Alvarinho and Viognier, planted in a remarkably unyielding Alentejo terroir. Eight months in French oak have gifted it with an unexpectedly lush character, a touch of sophistication that playfully contrasts with the vineyard’s inherent ambition. It’s a wine for those who relish a little disruption, particularly delightful with white fish and seafood – a truly intriguing pairing.
