Morgadio da Calçada The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed whole, without maceration. The must is held in stainless‑steel tanks at low temperatures. Fermentation mainly took place in 228‑liter and 500‑liter barrels, with some aging in stainless‑steel tanks where the wine matured on fine lees for nine months without undergoing malolactic fermentation.
