Morgadio da Calçada The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed whole, without maceration. The must is placed in stainless‑steel tanks at low temperatures. Fermentation mostly occurred in 228‑liter and 500‑liter barrels, with part of it in stainless‑steel tanks where the wine aged, respectively, in the presence of fine lees for 9 months without undergoing malolactic fermentation.
