This Morphosis from Patricia Magalhaes is a delightful surprise from the Douro. Initially crisp and carrying herbaceous notes alongside a subtle resinous aroma – likely thanks to the Verdelho – it unfolds on the palate with remarkable minerality and incredible length. A dry, creamy wine with a body consistent with the region, it would be absolutely perfect with grilled fish and lemon, or perhaps a simple vegetable soup.
