Its final barrel finish was in 1996, revealing a nose that is remarkably complex and exuberant, with notes of honey, dried fruit, coffee, tobacco, subtle vegetal undertones and spicy hints that evoke curry. On the palate it is a distinctly aged and rare wine, dense in texture thanks to the concentration of sugars over the years, and it finishes with a vibrant acidity that delivers a unique and memorable experience.
