Old wine bottles may show traces of dust and damaged labels, which is normal given their age. The National Cellar commits to storing all wines at the correct temperature and humidity, but always chooses to preserve the visual appearance inherent to their age. We select brands/regions that, as a rule, reveal distinct characteristics in old wine tastings. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even when sealed in a bottle, is subject to different evolutions over time. Therefore, the National Cellar cannot be held responsible for the product's quality, as it is an old wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate beforehand, as this will help release its natural aromas after so many years of closure. If you choose to decant the wine before serving, do so patiently to detect the sediment that an old wine tends to develop. (Illustrative image only)
