This Nat Cool Dão is a delightfully unassuming surprise, hinting at a touch of mastery. You really get a sense of the Serra da Estrela terroir – those lovely notes of wild berries, particularly blackberry and rosehip, dance beautifully on the nose. The Baga brings a welcome vibrancy, balancing the acidity, while the Jaen and Touriga Nacional add a lovely structure, making it a supremely easy-drinking wine; excellent with a hearty beef roast, wouldn’t you agree?
