Thus, in the fifth generation, Dirk Niepoort was born, an influential producer in the world of wine, recognized as one of the most important figures who has worked—and continues to work—for Portuguese wine. He has collaborated with dozens of producers, helping them improve their wines and understand their vineyards, while simultaneously building his legacy alongside those always creating irreverent wines.
