The Niepoort Tiara White wine is made from the grapes Códega do Larinho, Rabigato, Donzelinho Branco, and Cercial, sourced from vines over 60 years old planted at 600 m altitude. It offers a subtle nose with citrus, orchard‑fruit nuances and a herbaceous touch that adds complexity. On the palate it impresses with generosity, volume and structure; the finish is almost spicy, persistent and prolonged, anchored by excellent acidity. In Portugal’s wine scene there is no more consensual producer than Niepoort, whose long history began in 1842 with the first Van Der Niepoort arriving in the country. He quickly established a thriving port‑wine business, and in the fifth generation Dirk Niepoort emerged as a leading figure in the wine world, known for helping dozens of producers improve their wines and understand their vineyards while creating a legacy of irreverent wines. Today Dirk collaborates on many projects across almost all national wine regions and several foreign ones.
