Con is an Albariño from the Rías Baixas, even though it is not officially part of the denomination. It is made from vines that traditionally grow on the parreiro of Aios, a small village near Cambados. These are old vines about 75 years old, as José Lois Sebio focuses on restoring historic vines in privileged locations like this to produce the wines he loves. With this one, he presents a fresh, mineral, and very complex white, full of citrus and floral nuances over a smoky, creamy backdrop—an unforgettable wine.
