This Olho de Mocho Rosé from the Alentejo isn’t shy – it’s a bold statement. Grown in a region famed for its demanding terroir – think Mediterranean climate and granite soils – the wine showcases the potential of the Trincadeira grape, carefully cultivated on a south-facing plot with meticulously positioned rows. Harvested by hand on the early morning of August 23rd, 2020, the grapes were selected with precision. Maturation in French oak barrels, coupled with careful temperature control, has resulted in a wine of remarkable balance and complexity, ideally suited for pairing with grilled fish or seafood.
