Bodegas Ostatu incorporates the house’s own aging process into its range of aged wines. Mature and restrained, the company says, the result of Rioja Alavesa’s microclimate and the character of the vineyard in Samaniego. Twelve months of oak ageing refines it into a red wine with a fresh, fruity nose, balsamic hints and subtle spice, and a firm, juicy palate.
