Pai Horácio Concept: A selection of the finest varietal wines from each vintage, created to honour the company’s founder. Vineyard altitude: 160 to 650 m. Soil: Xisto and Xisto/Granite. Vinification: The process is minimalist, using granite vats with mechanical crushing. After fermentation, the wine matures for about a week before moving to stainless‑steel tanks where it clarifies naturally. Following malolactic fermentation, it is transferred to oak barrels for approximately twelve months of ageing. Serving: Serve at 15 °C, decanting recommended. The wine’s character makes it ideal for celebratory occasions and to add sparkle to oven‑baked dishes. Awards Gold – Crédito Agrícola Wine Competition 18th Edition, *Grandes Escolhas* Magazine
