Four months in clay amphora imparted a wonderfully distinctive texture, followed by a brief period in French oak which beautifully softens the vibrant cherry and raspberry notes. It's a remarkably well-balanced wine with a lingering finish – an excellent match for hearty beef dishes and aged cheeses.
