Passadouro Red 2019 From vineyards planted in the valley of the Pinhão River, on the upper slopes and in traditional schist stone terraces, the grapes that produced this Passadouro Red 2019 were harvested from these vines. The blend is 55 % Tinta Roriz, 25 % Touriga Francesa, 10 % Touriga Nacional, and 10 % field‑blend of old vines with a mix of traditional Douro varieties, giving the wine a fresh, complex and intense character. An excellent expression of this special Douro terroir, crafted by enologist Adalberto Ferreira. **Vinification** The wine is fermented under temperature control in stainless‑steel tanks. All grapes are destemmed and then undergo malolactic fermentation after the alcoholic fermentation. **Aging** 100 % of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, with 10 % of the barrels new.
