This Douro white, the Páteo das Tílias Reserva, is a real surprise. The colour – a beautiful lemon-yellow with a touch of straw – hints at its time spent in oak, doesn’t it? It bursts with freshness and vibrancy, showcasing perfectly defined white fruit alongside a subtle toasty note, all thanks to that harmonious oak ageing. On the palate, acidity reigns supreme, supported by a remarkable minerality that gives it a seriously compelling presence and a wonderfully persistent finish. Absolutely divine with *bacalhau à Brás*, I’d say!
