Paulo Laureano is one of Portugal’s most esteemed winemakers and a benchmark for Alentejo wines. He is an agronomist and oenologist trained in Portugal, Australia and Spain, and after ten years teaching at the University of Évora, he chose to devote himself exclusively to what has moved him since 2003: crafting wines. Primarily in the company he founded with his family in 1999, which has grown increasingly significant in his life, Paulo Laureano defines himself as a minimalist oenologist. For him, crafting wines is a passion—uncovering their aromas and flavours, evaluating and refining the elements that shape their identity and personality, and promoting them as true sources of pleasure. These are the key points of his philosophy. (image merely illustrative)
