Márcio Lopes was born in Porto in 1983, and his love of rural life grew up alongside his grandparents, who had always worked in agriculture. After earning a degree in Agronomic Engineering, which he completed in 2006, he began working with Anselmo Mendes already in 2005 in Melgaço. In 2008 he spent time in Australia, where he undertook two harvests in Rutherglen and Tasmania. In 2010 he launched two personal projects, Pequenos Rebentos and Proibido. In 2017 he embarked on a new venture in Ribeira Sacra, Spain. (Image merely illustrative)
