The nose is immediately driven by intense citrus – particularly grapefruit, lime, and even a hint of green lime – alongside a pronounced minerality that clearly stems from the river’s bedrock. On the palate, it’s resolutely fresh, maintaining perfect harmony, and the finish lingers, as if the Verdelho grape itself is whispering ancient secrets. Delicious with grilled fish and a squeeze of lemon, of course.
