This Pinhal da Torre Special is a real burst of personality – a wine that certainly doesn’t shy away from flavour. You get rich notes of dark chocolate and cocoa, beautifully interwoven with that intense black fruit character, thanks to the Merlot, Syrah, and particularly a stunning Aragonez reminiscent of the legendary Tinta Francisca. It’s remarkably balanced, with incredibly smooth tannins and a refreshing acidity, lingering beautifully – perfect with grilled fish, I’d say.
