This is a truly remarkable wine – a ten-year-old “Poças” that’s clearly enjoyed a good conversation with time. The gorgeous golden hue hints at its maturity, yet the elegance praised by Robert Parker (90 points!) is genuinely surprising. Expect notes of caramel mingling with bright citrus, and a remarkably smooth, enveloping texture. It finishes with a long, lingering note of fresh fruit – ideally paired with grilled white fish, perhaps with a squeeze of lemon for an extra burst of flavour.
