This Porta da Ravessa Special Harvest, lauded by Grandes Escolhas, initially seems a little smitten with the white fruit sweetness – a charming, if slightly indulgent, effect. Thankfully, the palate quickly recovers with a dry finish and a hint of bitterness, as if the wine is politely reminding you, "Don't get carried away, there's more to come!” It pairs beautifully with grilled white fish and some nicely seasoned olives.
