This 10 Year Old Tawny Port is a proper journey – a concentrated burst of perfectly ripe fruit, firmly rooted in the Douro Valley. The Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional provide a wonderfully rich and layered foundation, beautifully complemented by those tell-tale notes of dried fruit, a clear sign of careful maturation. Hints of caramel, stemming from the fine oak ageing, suggest a remarkably elegant and harmonious evolution. Delicious with aged cheeses or a grilled white fish, if you ask me.
