“Poseidon” – a fitting name, conjuring the strength of Portugal’s maritime history. Born from the ‘Vinhas Velhas,’ this red wine spent 72 days aging aboard the Coimbra, a merchant vessel, thanks to a rather intriguing collaboration with the Merchant Navy Officers’ Club. It’s a fascinating journey back in time, echoing the style of Madeira wine, and comes with a certificate – presumably confirming its seafaring origins. Absolutely perfect with seafood, or simply for gazing out at the horizon with a glass in hand.
