This Moscatel Galego, grown on the steep slopes of Alijó, clearly enjoyed a chilly harvest – a fortunate turn of events. The grapes, picked mid-September, were handled with the Niepoort’s signature care, resulting in a must brimming with ageing potential. Controlled fermentation in stainless steel with the lees ensures a beautiful balance of acidity and sweetness, ideal for pairing with sheep’s cheese or dried fruits.
