This Chardonnay from Quinta da Biaia spent a rather contemplative youth, largely conversing with stainless steel. A touch of French oak – just 25% new – was added for a sophisticated flourish, and weekly battonage ensured it retained its classic Chardonnay soul and incredibly smooth texture. Absolutely divine with fresh seafood and ceviche, wouldn’t you agree?
