This rosé from Morgado Mourisco, Quinta da Biaia, clearly had a rebellious youth – a stint in French oak that’s given it a touch of sophisticated indulgence. Those 25% of new oak certainly added a certain sparkle, while the weekly battonage imparted an unbelievably elegant texture. Perfect with a nicely grilled fish and a good pepper sauce, wouldn’t you agree?
