Born from the century-old vines of Quinta da Bica, this wine is a real journey into the most intensely ripe wild berries – bordering on compote. The complex aromatic profile, with herbaceous notes reminiscent of “green field” and a hint of spice, speaks volumes about the age of the grapes – primarily Alfroucheiro and Vinhas Velhas. On the palate, it’s pure indulgence, with velvety tannins dancing across the tongue, promising an incredibly long finish. Perfect with a hearty beef Stroganoff, I’d say.
