This Xisto Amarelo, born in the heart of the Douro, clearly enjoyed a long rest. The century-old German oak has been a wise confidant, lending a classic, aged wood aroma and a touch of grace. On the palate, dark forest fruits and white pepper reveal a refreshing vibrancy that contrasts beautifully with the wine’s firm tannin structure, culminating in a finish that lingers like a memorable discussion. Perfect paired with a hearty beef dish featuring wild mushrooms.
