Esporão was born in Alentejo from an unconditional desire to make the best wines. That motivation is the legacy of every bottle they produce and the main reason they have expanded their range to other products and regions. The Esporão Estate, located in the heart of Alentejo in Reguengos de Monsaraz, offers unique agricultural conditions—wide diurnal temperature swings, poor and varied soils, and extraordinary biodiversity that help create wine in harmony with the environment. With about 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and other crops cultivated under a Biological Production Method, the estate now includes roughly 40 grape varieties, four olive varieties, orchards, and vegetable gardens.
