This Baga from Quinta da Dôna, awarded 18 points by Grandes Escolhas, is a truly impressive wine. Deep ruby in colour, it immediately announces a burst of intense red fruit flavours, with a lovely hint of dark chocolate. It’s a powerful and remarkably well-balanced wine – perfect with a hearty grilled steak, I’d say! It certainly suggests the Quinta's Baga vines hold a few secrets.
