Quinta da Foz Reserva Vinhas Velhas red wine is crafted from Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grapes grown on the estate’s old vines. After 18 months of aging in French oak barrels, it shows a dazzling cherry‑red hue and complex, intense aromas of red fruit, black plum and gentle floral nuances. Subtle hints of dark chocolate and spices from the French oak enrich the bouquet. On the palate it is full‑bodied, with fresh fruit notes and silky, well‑integrated tannins that lend elegance and a pleasant, lingering finish. Quinta da Foz is located in the heart of the Douro wine region, within the Cima Corgo sub‑region, in the parish of Gouvães do Douro, Sabrosa, and borders the confluence of the Pinhão and Douro rivers. Today the estate focuses on producing high‑quality table wines, having resumed Port production in 2012.
