This Quinta da Gaivosa 2021 is undeniably a tribute to its lineage – and those robust tannins! Born from vines over 60 years old, patiently nurtured as Domingos Alves de Sousa would have done, the wine underwent a prolonged maceration, resulting in a deep ruby colour and complex aromas of red fruits intertwined with spicy notes, courtesy of the new oak. As the "Producer of the Year" award recipients noted in 1999 and 2006, the wine boasts an elegant structure and a remarkably long, fruity finish – perfect for a truly special occasion.
